Subordination of Encumbrance to Property Rights of Orange County - Destination Parkway
Summary:

Universal City is extending Destination Parkway, formerly known as Canadian Court, across an OUC electric transmission easement.  Universal City, on behalf of Orange County, has asked OUC and the City of Orlando to subordinate a portion of an existing electric transmission easement that is located within the new Destination Parkway right-of-way.  The location of the affected easement is east of International Drive and north of the Beachline (SR 528).  There are currently OUC facilities within the subordinated portion of the affected easement, but they will not need to be relocated.  Orange County has agreed to reimburse OUC for the cost of relocating any facilities, if necessary in the future, to a location within the unaffected portion of the easement.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Subordination of Encumbrance to Property Rights to Orange County - Destination Parkway - and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk to execute same, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
