In 1991, the City of Orlando began printing an annual calendar for public distribution to foster awareness of historic preservation in Orlando. Today, funding is no longer available in the City's budget to print the 2015 Historic Preservation Calendar.
The McCoy Federal Credit Union graciously sponsored the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Historic Preservation Board Calendars- and all proved to be a great success. The McCoy Federal Credit Union Board has again agreed to sponsor the printing and production of the City's 2015 Historic preservation Calendar and photo competition at an estimated cost of $11,000 for the calendar and $1,300 for the competition prizes. At no cost to the City, McCoy Federal Credit Union will provide 5,000 copies of the 2015 Historic Preservation Calendar to the City of Orlando for distribution and pay the photo contest winners directly the $100 prize per winning photo. As consideration for its payment of printing, as well as, the competition costs, the calendar will have the McCoy Federal Credit Union logo at the bottom of each page as the sponsor.
The 2015 Historic Preservation Board Calendar will feature the City of Orlando's Historic Landmarks.
