| | | | | | | | Subject: | Two (2) Two-Year Employment Agreements - Capital improvements & Infrastructure Development Division - Adam Walosik, Construction Manager, and Ron Proulx, Construction Manager | Summary: | The Capital Improvements & Infrastructure Development Division is responsible for providing construction management services for City infrastructure projects. The current full time staff members are fully committed to projects already under construction. Upcoming construction projects will require additional staffing for construction management services on a short term basis.
Currently we have three Contract Construction Managers. Two of the two-year agreements will expire in September, 2014. Throughout the past year, both employees have performed well and Public Works desires to retain both employees for two additional years. These positions are included and funded in the FY 2013/2014 through FY 2015/2016 budgets as full-time, contract positions. These agreements are for a two-year period, beginning on September 7, 2014 and ending September 6, 2016. | Fiscal and Efficiency Data: | Cost is budgeted in Cost Center CIP0004-C, Capital Improvements & Infrastructure Development. | Recommended Action: | Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the subject agreements with Adam Walosik, Construction Manager, and Ron Proulx, Construction Manager, as noted above subject to review and approval of the City Attorney's Office. | Contact: | Tom Connery - ext 3751 |
