Summary:

The +0.96 acre subject site is located east of S. Ferncreek Ave., west of Cloverlawn Ave. and south of  Curry ford Rd. in the Bel Air neighborhood.  The applicant is requesting to vacate the existing Planned Development (PD) and rezone the property to R-1/T.  The site currently contains a single family residence constructed in 1957.

 

Previous actions regarding this application are as follows:

  •  2004:  Property annexed into the City of Orlando. (AN2004-00029)
  • 2006: 1900 Curry Ford Rd. rezoned PD/T to allow for the development of 3 single-family residences (Doc. # 0602271003)

Recommended Action:
Approve the attached ordinance number 2014-39 on first reading and request that the Mayor and the City Clerk present the draft ordinance for second reading and public hearing at the next regular City Council meeting.
