Summary:
The attached proposed resolution is a required element of the City of Orlando's application for state funds under the State of Florida Sports Development Program. The City's application seeks state funds in support of construction of the proposed City of Orlando soccer stadium.

The proposed resolution makes certain findings as required by the Sports Development Program created by section 4, Chapter 2014-167, Laws of Florida, including that the City of Orlando supports the application for state funds and that the proposed City of Orlando soccer stadium serves a public purpose.
Fiscal & Efficiency Data: No fiscal impact.
Recommended Action:
Adoption of the proposed resolution and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to sign the resolution upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
