Summary:
Upon approval of the proposed millage rate set forth herein, the Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District will advise the Property Appraiser of the proposed millage rate, rollback rate and date, time and place at which a public hearing will be held to consider the Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District's proposed millage rate and tentative budget.
Fiscal & Efficiency Data: The proposed Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District millage rate will generate $375,038 budgeted at the collection percentage of 95 percent per the requirements for special districts.
Recommended Action:
Approval of the proposed Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District millage rate of 1.0000 and authorization for the CFO to submit the proposed millage rate, rollback rate and date, time and place of the public hearing to consider the proposed millage rate and tentative budget to the Property Appraiser pursuant to Section 200.065, Florida Statute.
