Summary:
The Arena Football League recently unanimously approved the sale of the Orlando AFL franchise to a new entity, Orlando Predators LLC, the principal of whom is Westgate Resorts' David Siegel. The new ownership team has negotiated an agreement for the team to return to Amway Center for its home games.
The Use Agreement provides for a three year term with a base use fee for a weekend game of $20,000 and $16,000 for a weekday game. If the Predators use the upper bowl, the team will pay an additional use fee of $5,000 (half) or $10,000 (whole upper bowl.) The team also has an option to use the Citrus Bowl and Thunder Field for practices for an additional monthly use fee. The Predators will also receive 50% of the net concession revenue in years one and two of the Agreement and 40% in year three.
