Summary:
Previous tenant Eileen Smith (d/b/a A Downtown Florist & Wedding Shop) has sold the florist business it has operated under its lease to Lake Eola Florist, LLC. The Lease with Eileen Smith will be terminated upon the commencement date of this Lease. Lake Eola Florist is currently operating the florist business and desires to enter into a new lease of the Premises.
The terms of the Lease will be two (2) years with one (1) additional one (1) year option. Rent for the first year of the lease will be $1,268.37 per month/$15,220.44 annually and will increase 5% per year after the first year. The Lease may be terminated with thirty (30) days prior written notice. |
Recommended Action:
Approval and authorization for the Mayor/Pro Tem and City Clerk to execute Lease, substantially in the form attached, and approval and authorization, without further City Council approval, for the Real Estate Division Manager to execute additional extension options referenced herein, so long as such approvals are in conformance with the terms and conditions of the Lease, all subject to the review and approval of the City Attorney's Office. |
