The attached ordinance will amend the Growth Management Plan by changing the future land use designation from Community Activity Center to Industrial for approximately 3 acres located at the Northeast Corner of S. Kirkman Road and the Florida Turnpike.
The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the GMP amendment (Case #GMP2014-00008) and associated PD amendment (Case #ZON2014-00001) on April 15, 2014. These amendments will allow for an indoor gun range and retail gun store.
The first reading of this ordinance was on June 23, 2014. The PD amendment will be part of a separate ordinance.
