Approving Employee Contract for Permit Technician I in Permitting Services - Rachel Lopes

The Permitting Services Division is responsible for ensuring development occurs in compliance with life-safety, Building Code and Municipal code standards. Due to improvement in the economy and an increase in construction activity, Permitting is requesting the approval of contracting Ms. Rachel Lopes to fill one Permit Technician I position. Ms. Lopes will be responsible for reviewing and issuing permit applications under the direction of the Customer Service Manager. This position is included in the FY2014 and FY2015 budgets as a full-time, contract position. This agreement is for a one-year period, beginning on or about July 21, 2014 and ending July 30, 2015.

Approval of the Permit Technician I employment contract.
