| | | | | | | | | Subject: | Perpetual Drainage Easement | | Summary: | In 2011, the City of Orlando and OUC approved the sale of a strip of property at the Skylake Water Treatment Plant along with an additional drainage easement to manage the water flows from Sand Lake Road. As part of the development requirements, Eastgroup Properties (EGP) would assign their drainage easement rights to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). In lieu of the assignment of the drainage easement from EGP, FDOT has requested a drainage easement directly from OUC and the City over the same strip of land next to Sand Lake Road.
