| | | | | | | | | Subject: | U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Program Year 2013 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Agreement between the City of Orlando and Lighthouse Central Florida, Inc. | | Summary: | On July 22, 2013, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2013-2014 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development Programs, a request from Lighthouse Central Florida, Inc. for CDBG funding in the amount of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00). Lighthouse Central Florida will use this funding towards the rehabilitation and expansion of its building located at 2500 Kunze Avenue, Orlando, FL 32804. Lighthouse is a local non-profit that provides employment services to adults with blindness or severe visual impairment. The execution of this agreement was delayed due to an occupance issue with
