Subject:20th Anniversary of World Cup Orlando 1994
Summary:
Mayor Dyer will call upon Orlando Venues Executive Director Allen Johnson to provide brief background on the event, mention the related website ( www.OrlandoWorldCupReunion.com ) and introduce Joanie Schirm who served as Orlando Bid & Host Committee Chair. Schirm will then give brief remarks thanking Mayor, Commissioners and the community for making the 1994 World Cup a resounding success.

Allen will then call Mayor Dyer to present and read the proclamation. Following that several key volunteers will assemble for a brief picture with Mayor Dyer.

Recommended Action:Mayor Dyer will read the Proclamation and call several volunteers from World Cup for a group picture.
