Summary:
On May 23, 2013 the City of Orlando entered into an agreement with CDM-Smith to provide professional services for the Federal Equal Opportunity Employment compliance monitoring with Ardaman & Associates providing geotechnical and materials testing services as a sub-consultant to CDM-Smith. The project intensity has required Ardaman to provide continuous service for both phases with a full time inspector. This authorization for $45,500.00 addresses the additional man hours requested by the City to provide continuous on-site services for the West Phase of the Church Street Streetscape project. |

Fiscal & Efficiency Data:
Funding for Church Street Streetscape Project was established at BRC on February 5, 2013. Staff has generated project CIP0023_P to track expenditures for the West Phase. This change order authorization is covered under existing project funds.

Recommended Action:
Recommend approval of services authorization for professional services by CDM-Smith in the amount not to exceed $45,500.00. Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the authorization subject to review and approval of the Office of Legal Affairs. |
