Summary:
The Downtown South Neighborhood Improvement District (DSNID) Advisory Council held a meeting on March 19, 2014. Attached are the meeting minutes for consideration by the Board of Directors. The minutes contain actions recommended for approval by the Board of Directors regarding a potential ad valorem tax that would create revenue for improvements within the District. These are:
- An initial ad valorem tax of 1.0 mils.
- Acceptance of a draft framework capital improvement program for the District.
A final capital improvement program, should a referendum be successful in May 2014, will be handled through the City's annual budget cycle, following recommendations of the Advisory Council.
