Summary:
The City operates Kittinger Park at the west end of the Orlando Executive Airport on property owned by the City but under the operation and control of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, "GOAA". Kittinger F-4 Park, Inc. is a non-profit corporation established by Joe Kittinger for the purpose of obtaining an F-4 Jet for display in Kittinger Park. An F-4 Jet in Corsicana, Texas has been identified by the Air Force for loan to the City. Under the terms of this Agreement, Kittinger is responsible for all costs associated with transport, installation and maintenance of the Jet in Kittinger Park. Kittinger will also carry property insurance covering the value of the Jet display. City has review/approval authority over design of the Jet display and will then treat it as a park improvement for general liability purposes. Once delivered, GOAA has agreed to provide warehouse space for storage of the Jet until the display is constructed.
