Summary:

A request for preliminary approval of a major plat titled Butler's Preserve. This is the preliminary plat to allow for a redevelopment that includes single family and duplex lots, retention, park and conservation tracts and ROW dedication for the extension of Barack Obama Parkway .  The subject property is generally located north of Carter Street, south of Barley Street, east of Ellis Avenue and west of Willie Mays Parkway.  The site is approximately 38.0 acres (SUB2014-00008).

Recommend approval of the preliminary major subdivision plat subject to satisfactory review by City Staff and authorized signature of the Mayor, Planning Official, City Engineer, City Surveyor and City Clerk.
