Summary:

The attached ordinance amends the future land use category and zoning categories for property located at 801 Vassar Street, approximately 0.179 acres (Vassar). The property is currently developed with a single family home. The applicant is planning to obtain permits to convert the house to an office.

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the GMP amendment to amend the future land use designation of 801 Vassar Street from Residential Medium Intensity to Office Low Intensity (GMP2013-00031), amend the zoning designation from R-3B/T/W/SP/AR to O-1/T/W/SP/AR (ZON2013-00030) on February 18, 2014.

Recommended Action:

Approve the attached Ordinance No. 2014-11 on first reading and request that the Mayor and City Clerk present the draft ordinance for second reading and public hearing at the next City Council Meeting.
