The project will consist of drainage improvements, and the reconstruction of Oregon Street from Altaloma Avenue east to the intersection with Hampton Avenue. The storm sewer improvements will include the construction of a 66-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) from Altaloma Avenue to Hampton Avenue, with the 66-inch RCP connecting to the existing 108-inch RCP that ultimately outfalls to Lake Rowena. The reconstruction of Oregon Street will be brick replacement with asphalt pavement improvement at the intersections with Altaloma Avenue, Morris Avenue (north and south) and Hardy Avenue. The reconstruction of Oregon Street will be brick replacement up to just short of the intersection with Hampton Avenue then will be asphalt pavement reconstruction at the Hampton Avenue intersection.
The Procurement and Contracts Division and Public Works Department have evaluated these bids and recommend award to Stage Door II, of Apopka Florida, for the Colonial Town Drainage Improvements project.
The bids were reviewed by the M/WBE office for compliance with the program. Stage Door II, M/WBE Participation Plan for this contract is as follows:
