Summary:
The City of Orlando and Cox Media Group have partnered to produce "Fireworks at the Fountain" Special Event for the next three years. This agreement will guarantee the City will receive financial and staffing support to assist with implementing the event including complete event set up, entertainment and media coverage via their television partnership and seven radio station outlets. No other locally based media group has the same resources to produce and publicize this event. The annual “Fireworks at the Fountain” event is the largest 1-day event hosted at Lake Eola Park and has significant economic impact on the Downtown area. |

Fiscal & Efficiency Data:
Cox Media Group will pay the City of Orlando $40,000 for 2016, and $41,500 for 2017 and $42,500 for 2018 on or before August 4 of each year.
This event will be sole sourced because Cox Media Group will pay the City of Orlando for this sponsorship opportunity and offer complete event set up, entertainment and media coverage via their television partnership and seven radio station outlets.
