2017-2018 Florida Division of Cultural Affairs Grant Application for Leu Gardens

Summary:

The Florida Division of Cultural Affairs General Program Support Grant provides funding for general operational expenses at Harry P. Leu Gardens.

The City is requesting funding of $150,000 to enhance our present educational programs and special events at the Gardens.  The dollar to dollar match required will be met with current budget expenditures for education programs and special events.

Recommended Action:
Approval by the City Council of the application and execution by the Mayor of the authorization letter officially designating Keri Byrum with the authority to electronically submit the grant for $150,000 on behalf of the City of Orlando, subject to review by the City Attorney's Office and the Grants Development Supervisor.
