The following sealed bids were received in response to the subject solicitation:

Project will consist of construction of storm sewer system between Lake Cherokee and Lake Davis within Cherokee Park and within the right-of-way of Woodlawn Boulevard, including new storm manholes, inlets, control structure, piping, underdrain, replacement of sanitary sewer lines and laterals, concrete curbing, road base and brick pavers, sidewalk, park improvements and landscaping.

The Procurement and Contracts Division and Public Works Department have evaluated these bids and recommend award to J. Malever Construction Company for the Lake Cherokee to Lake Davis Drainage Improvements project.

The bids were reviewed by the M/WBE office for compliance with the program.  J. Malever Construction Company M/WBE Participation Plan for this contract is as follows:

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to execute a contract with J. Malever Construction Company, in the amount of $856,192.30, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
