Use of the Florida Sheriff's Association Contract with Kenworth of Central Florida for the purchase of one (1) Kenworth/Aquatech vacuum truck, C16-0200

Summary:
The Fleet Management Division and Wastewater Division are requesting to utilize Florida Sheriff's Association Contract #15-13-0904 with Kenworth of Central Florida, of Orlando, Florida, for the purchase of one (1) 2016 Kenworth T880 bio-diesel cab and chassis truck with an Aquatech B-15 body in the amount of $444,405.00.

This bio-diesel vacuum truck will supplement the City's vacuum trucks currently in service, furthering the City's Sustainability Initiative.

No City Certified M/WBE Suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Recommended Action:
Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize Florida Sheriff's Association Contract #15-13-0904 and issue a Purchase Order to Kenworth of Central Florida, as indicated above, in the amount of $444,405.00.
