Summary:
On August 30, 2010, City Council authorized the Planning Official to issue a series of Temporary Use Permits to the owners of unimproved parcels near the Amway Center to be used as paid parking lots during events. These Temporary Use Permits were subsequently extended in 2012 and in 2014. Some of these lots are no longer used for temporary parking. The remaining lots used for Event Center parking are:

Most of the remaining lots' Temporary Use Permits will expire on July 1, 2016. In response to requests from the parking vendors, Staff is recommending the extension of the Temporary Use Permits for the aforementioned temporary use parking lots until July 1, 2017. |
