The project involves the installation of a new drainage collection system for the Kaley-Eola intersection and Eola Avenue North of Kaley. The purpose of the project is to alleviate localized flooding in the intersection and better collect and convey stormwater runoff along Eola Avenue. The project will also include replacement of the sanitary sewer collection system and the OUC domestic water lines. OUC will use their contractor to install the water lines.
The Procurement and Contracts Division and Public Works Department have evaluated the bids and recommend award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Jordan Brothers Construction, LLC, of Orlando, Florida, for the Kaley-Eola Drainage Improvements project in the amount of $990,911.97.
