Summary:
On July 27, 2015, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2015-2016 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development programs, a request from Coalition for the Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando, Inc. for CDBG funding in the amount Twenty Eight Thousand Dollars ($28,000.00). Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando is a private non-profit corporation that operates and provides a program called the Family Stabilization Program (FSP) which is an intensive six-month case management program designed to help low- and moderate - income at-risk individuals and families to overcome immediate crises and achieve long-term financial stability and self-sufficiency. Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando will use this funding to provide case management services as a part of the Family Stabilization Program to City of Orlando residents. |

Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement with Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando, Inc. in the amount of $28,000.00 after review of the documents by the City Attorney's office. |
