City of Orlando/Orange County Lease Agreement, Amendment III McLeod Road Transfer Station

Summary:

In 1984 the City leased to Orange County property located at 5000 L. B. McLeod Road for use as a solid waste transfer station.  The term was 25 years and the County later exercised their option to extend the lease to 2034.

Orange County Public Works has requested that an additional 50 foot wide strip of land be added to their leased premises to improve the entrance/exit for the solid waste transfer station.  See attached preliminary site plan and sketch of descriptions of the additional land and the new leased premises.


Fiscal & Efficiency Data: No Fiscal Impact.

Recommended Action:
Approval of City of Orlando/Orange County Lease Agreement, Amendment III McLeod Road Transfer Station, in substantially the form attached; authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute same; all subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
