Temporary Use Permit for Sunpass Garage Sign on Church Street Parking Garage

Summary:

SED Development, LLC requests approval of a temporary use permit to display a "Sunpass" sign on its parking garage at 150 S. Hughey Ave. The sign is to be displayed at the northwest corner of Church St. and Hughey Ave., as illustrated on the attached image.

While the garage will remain open through the end of the 2015-2016 NBA season and is to be demolished upon its conclusion, the applicant requests this temporary use permit for a period of two years with one possible one-year administrative extension.

Recommended Action:
Approve the requested temporary use permit for the installation of a Sunpass sign on the subject property until February 2018, with the option for one one-year administrative extension until February 2019.
