After conducting an extensive search for candidates, the Economic Development Department has selected Mr. Jacques Coulon to fill the role of Planner I - Contract position within the City Planning Division. This position involves work as a project planner for various planning and zoning cases, including rezoning petitions, Conditional Use Permits, annexations, plats, Master Plans, Variances, etc. This position involves coordinating projects with city staff, the applicants, and with the public, and professionally presenting projects before City advisory boards.

Jacques received a master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Central Florida in 2013. Jacques also has seven years experience as a Team Leader for Lockheed Martin Corporation in the Grant Review section. He also has served as planning intern with the Seminole County government, as a student liaison to the Planning Advisory Committee for UCF's Masters of Urban Planning program, and a member of the Baldwin Park Architectural Review Committee.
