Summary:
The current engagement letter between the City and Shutts & Bowen LLP for fiscal year 2014-2015 expires on September 30, 2015, and the Office of Business & Financial Services and City Attorney's Office desire to continue to utilize Shutts & Bowen LLP as special legal counsel for bond transactions and other complex financial matters for fiscal year 2015-2016 pursuant to the terms set forth in the attached engagement letter. The rates remain unchanged from last year.  
Fiscal & Efficiency Data: Fiscal Impact Statement attached.  Actual costs will depend on the number of transactions and are paid from bond proceeds.
Recommended Action:
Approval of the Engagement Letter and authorization for the City Attorney to execute same.
