Summary:
As part of the FY 2015/2016 budget process, City Council approved funding for 24 community service organizations that provide relief for families, children and seniors, and address the diverse needs and challenges Orlando residents experience. This includes the distribution of $82,280 to the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness, $16,456 to the Orlando Humane Society for animal services, $82,280 to the Homeless Services Network and $14,707 for the administration of the Community Service funds. Approval is being requested for the funding agreements and distribution of approved funds to the agencies in the amounts specified in Exhibit A. A draft of the funding agreement is attached. |

Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor/Pro-tem and City Clerk to execute the funding agreements with the organizations in the amounts attached to this agenda item, subject to review and approval by the Office of Legal Affairs.
