2015-2016 Funding Agreement between the City of Orlando and Foundation for Building Community, Inc.

Summary:
The Foundation for Building Community, Inc. is a collaborative of business and civic leaders from Central Florida's seven county area. The funding agreement between the City and the Foundation provides funding for the Foundation for activities related to helping convene and garner support from the business community and other private public and independent sector organizations to advance the City's GreenWorks Orlando Community Action Plan, coordinate a best practices mission for community leaders to travel to a domestic location to explore opportunities related to sustainability, urban redevelopment and economic development and to develop a program to invite and engage City of Orlando small businesses in Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce events and programs. Other terms are specified in Exhibit C of the funding agreement.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the funding agreement between the City and the Foundation for Building Community, Inc.  subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
