FY 2015 HUD-Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) agreement between the City of Orlando and Center for Multicultural Wellness & Prevention

Summary:

On July 27, 2015, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2015-2016 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development Programs, a request from the Center for Multicultural Wellness & Prevention (CMWP) for ESG funding in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($20,000.00).  CMWP Rapid Re-housing Program will provide Tenant Based Rental Assistance and support service to eligible households residing within the City of Orlando City limits.


Fiscal & Efficiency Data:

FY2015 HUD – Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) was approved on 07/27/2015 as part of the Annual Action Plan.


Recommended Action:

Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement with Center for Multicultural Wellness & Prevention, Inc. in the amount of $20,000.00 after review of the documents by the City Attorney's office and Grants Development Supervisor.
