Summary:

In February 2015, the City entered in to a contract with Kony Services Inc. to develop an initial application blueprint for the Vehicle for Hire application.  Services included design, software licenses, cloud hosting and training.  Kony is the City’s mobile application development platform. 

The Orlando Police Department (OPD) and Technology Management (TM) are now requesting approval of the Statement of Work (SOW) with Kony Services Inc. to include Mobile Application Development needed to deploy the Vehicle for Hire application.  The estimated amount of the SOW is $298,000.00.

No City Certified M/WBE vendors are registered for this commodity.

Recommended Action:

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to execute the Statement of Work (SOW) with Kony Services Inc., in the estimated amount of $298,000.00 as indicated above and all subsequent renewals, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
