Orange County 2015 Cultural Facilities Grant Agreement - Loch Haven Cultural Park

Summary:
On June 30, 2015, the Orange County Board of County Commissioners approved the Arts and Cultural Affairs Advisory Council's FY 2015 Cultural Facilities Program recommendation for funding a $124,000 grant to the City of Orlando for improvements to Loch Haven Cultural Park. These improvements include a plaza/performance space, wayfinding signs and arms which will be attached to OUC light poles to hold event banners. The total cost of these improvements is $248,000, with $124,000 coming from existing CIP funds earmarked for these improvements, and the remainder coming from this grant, as per the attached Agreement.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Agreement and authorize the Mayor or mayor Pro Tem to execute same, subject to review and approval of form and legality by the City Attorney Office and City Grants Management.
