Summary:
In recognition of the design of the new Orlando Police Headquarters, the American Institute of Architects Orlando Chapter awarded the project an Award of Excellence in the unbuilt category.
Expected to be completed in 2016, the new 96,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will improve department operations, utilize the latest technology and make interacting with officers easier by bringing the Orlando Police Department even closer to the community
Mayor Dyer will call upon Chief Mina to speak and introduce Ian Reeves, the Vice President of Architects Design Group, Inc, (ADG) who will speak and present the award to Mayor Dyer and the Orlando City Council. Mayor Dyer will accept the award. Photographs will be taken with the Mayor, OPD staff and Architects Design Group staff.
