Summary:

Public Works Department / Wastewater Division is requesting to utilize the Florida State Term Contract (STC) #41120000-15-ACS for Research Laboratory Supplies with Fisher Scientific Company, L.L.C. of Atlanta, GA, to purchase laboratory supplies.

The current term of the contract is effective through February 12, 2020 with the option to renew for no more than five (5) additional one (1) year periods.  This is an indefinite quantity contract.  Actual expenditures will vary as usage will be on an as-needed basis at the established unit prices and available funding.  Based on prior usage reports and information provided by the primary user, the estimated annual expenditure is $137,000.00.

No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Recommended Action:
Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize the Florida STC for Research Laboratory Supplies with Fisher Scientific Company, L.L.C. as indicated above in the estimated annual amount of $137,000.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
