Amendment to Florida Department of Environmental Protection Grant - Park of the Americas
Summary:
On May 12, 2014, the Orlando City Council approved and executed an Agreement with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, under the Recreational Trails Program, for a $75,000 grant to develop the Park of the Americas Recreational Trail. The project includes a 12' paved trail, outdoor exercise equipment and trail site amenities.

The Agreement must be amended to allow a change to the approved workplan. The workplan is modified to adjust the project schedule to accommodate permitting and to simplify the cost estimate and change the trail materials and quantities.  The amendment does not extend the original project term. 
Fiscal & Efficiency Data: This amendment to the Agreement has no fiscal impact.
Recommended Action:
Approve the attached First Amendment to DEP Agreement NO. T2B16 and authorize the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute same, subject to review and approval of form and legality by the City Attorney Office and the Grants Development Supervisor.
