Electric/Communications Easement for Duke Energy for City-Owned Property at 5505 Hansel Avenue
Summary:
The City owns the property at 5505 Hansel Avenue in unincorporated Orange County.  The City leases the property to the Fraternal Order of the Police Orlando Lodge #25. 

In 2008/2009 the Lodge demolished their old building and in 2011/2012 constructed a new building closer to Hansel Avenue.  Duke Energy requires a new Electric/Communications Easement for service to the new building and the attached easement memorializes this matter.  The attached Sketch Aerial graphically displays the location of the easement area on the property.

Duke Energy will record the easement in the Orange County Public Records at their expense. 
Fiscal & Efficiency Data: No Fiscal Impact.
Recommended Action:
Approval of Electric/Communications Easement in substantially the form attached; authorize the Mayor/Pro Tem to execute same; authorize recording in the Orange County Public Records; all subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
