Ordinance No. 2015-5 amends the future land use designation for the western portion of a 4.8 acre parcel located north of W. Gore Street, east of Lucerne Terrace, south of Ernestine Street, and west of Kuhl Avenue (Lucerne Promenade). (Economic Development)
Summary:

The attached ordinance amends the future land use designation for the western portion of a 4.8 acre parcel located north of W. Gore Street, east of Lucerne Terrace, south of Ernestine Street, and west of Kuhl Avenue.  The future land use designation is being amended from Office Medium Intensity to Mixed Use Corridor High Intensity. 

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the GMP amendment on December 16, 2014.  The associated Planned Development (ZON2014-00026) zoning amendment for the entire 10.7 acre site was also approved at the December 16, 2014 Municipal Planning Board meeting but was subsequently placed on hold.

 

The first reading of this ordinance was heard on March 23, 2015.  This ordinance was advertised on March 26, 2015 for this April 6, 2015 meeting

Recommended Action:

Adopt the attached ordinance number 2015-5 and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
