Donation to FDOT of right of way Parcel 885.1R Perpetual Easement

Summary:
FDOT is working with the City on the SunRail project.  FDOT needs a perpetual easement for an existing signal house on unused, unnamed, City right of way.  This location is north of Wilkinson Avenue along the west right of way for the SunRail project.  You are referred to the attached maps depicting the location.

FDOT requests City donation of a small 5 foot by 11.97 foot, 60 square foot area for the perpetual easement.  The City retains its rights for any utility facilities including easements.  FDOT agrees to pay for costs associated with any changes in the City's utility facilities.

Fiscal & Efficiency Data: No Fiscal Impact.

Recommended Action:
Approval of donation and the donation letter, conveyance document, and resolution, all in substantially the forms attached; authorize the City's Real Estate Manager, Mayor/Pro Tem, and City Clerk to execute the documents; all subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
