A Temporary Use Permit for Banners at the Orlando Citrus Bowl for the 2015 and 2016 Orlando City Major League Soccer Seasons
Summary:
Attached is a Planning Official Determination approving special event banners for the Orlando City Soccer Club at the Orlando Citrus Bowl for the first month (March) of the 2015 season.  It is also proposed that these banners be placed at the Citrus Bowl for the entire length of the 2015 soccer season, which requires the action of the Council due to the duration being greater than six months.  A signage package is attached for approval which shows the locations of the proposed banners on the east and west facades of the Orlando Citrus Bowl.

The locations for banners to complement a possible 2016 soccer season at the Orlando Citrus Bowl are also proposed for approval, provided the locations of the banners are the same and the actual designs are subsequently approved via Planning Official Determination.

Recommended Action:
Approval of a Temporary Use Permit for temporary banners at the Citrus Bowl for the Orlando City 2015 season consistent with the attached sign package; a subsequent season at the Citrus Bowl may be approved by the Planning Official administratively by determination, provided that the sign locations match the approved locations in the attached sign package.
