Summary:
The corporation that operates Alamo, National and Enterprise car rental companies - Enterprise Holdings - also operates a Foundation that gives back to the communities in which its customers and employees live and work. Enterprise Holdings employees can request donations from their Foundation for programs they care about in their home communities. In this manner, the Enterprise Holdings Foundation has contributed more than $200 million to thousands of registered non-profit efforts since 1982.
One of the beneficiaries of this generosity is Parramore Kidz Zone. Since 2012, Orlando-based employees of Enterprise Holdings - namely Vice President Brian Mogauro and Risk Manager Rob Marble - have arranged for $9,500 in donations from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation for PKZ, to provide college scholarships to Parramore youth, including a recent donation of $3,500.
Mayor Dyer will ask Lisa Early, the City's Director of Families, Parks and Recreation, to step up to the podium to speak a few words about the impact of Enterprise Holdings' generosity on the youth who have been beneficiaries of these scholarships. Ms. Early will then ask Mr. Mogauro to come to the podium to say a few words and present a large check. Mayor Dyer and Commissioner Hill will then step down from the dais so that photographs can be taken with the Mayor, Commissioner Hill, and Enterprise Holdings leadership and staff. |
