February 9, 2015 as Orlando and Urayasu Sister City Commemoration Day
Summary:
The City of Orlando established a Sister City relationship with Urayasu, Japan in November 1989. The City of Orlando will receive a delegation of distinguished guests from Urayasu to commemorate the 25th anniversary of our Sister City relationship February 4-9, 2015. The delegation includes Urayasu's Deputy Mayor Nakamura, other City officials and members of the Urayasu International Friendship Association. 

Mayor Dyer will call upon Kathy DeVault, Director of Strategic Partnerships to provide a brief overview of the Urayasu delegation's visit in Orlando. Mayor Dyer will read the proclamation and a group photo will be taken.

Recommended Action:
Proclaim February 9, 2015 as Orlando and Urayasu Sister City Commemoration Day in the City of Orlando.
