Meeting Minutes and Approving the Actions of the Housing Review Committee – January 5, 2015

Summary:

The Housing Review Committee (HRC) is responsible for providing recommendations to the City Council on the selection of housing development projects to be funded with State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) and HOME Program funds throughout the year. The HRC is comprised of representatives from City Planning, Urban Design, OPD, Permitting Services, Real Estate Management, Code Enforcement, Orange County Housing Finance Authority, the Orlando Housing Authority, the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, the CDBG Review Committee, and the Municipal Planning Board.

At their meeting on January 5, 2015 the HRC voted to recommend approval of a funding request from Crystal Lake Supportive Environments (D.B.A. ATTAIN, Inc) in the amount of $133,531 to improve three existing facilities by adding bedrooms and baths to enhance the quality of life for existing residents. These residences are located at 514 Ventura Avenue, 4635 Carmel Street and 5114 Barnegat Pt.
