The attached ordinance amends the future land use designation for property located at the northeast and southeast corners of the intersection of Judge Road and Conway Road.  4.58 acres are amended from Community Activity Center to Industrial future land use designation and 5.3 acres are amended from Industrial to Community Activity Center future land use designation.  The subject property is approximately 9.88 acres. 

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the GMP amendment to amend 4.58 acres from Community Activity Center to Industrial future land use designation and amend 5.3 acres from Industrial to Community Activity Center future land use designation (GMP2014-00030) on October 21, 2014.  There is an associated Planned Development (ZON2014-00023) zoning amendment for 135.7 acres as well as a Master Plan (MPL2014-00031) for 298,074 sq. ft. of industrial flex space on Phase 1 of the PD area that were approved at the October 21, 2014 Municipal Planning Board meeting.

The adoption ordinance for the GMP is scheduled for January 26, 2015. The PD zoning ordinance will be on a separate City Council Agenda.

Approve the attached ordinance number 2014-68 on first reading and request that the Mayor and City Clerk present the draft ordinance for second reading and public hearing at the next City Council Meeting.
