Summary:
On July 28, 2014, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2014-2015 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development Programs, a request from BETA Center, Inc. for CDBG Public Services funding in the amount of Forty Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Two Dollars and No Cents ($40,242.00). BETA Center, Inc. will use this funding to provide supportive parent training services and case management for twenty-five (25) income-qualified, pregnant and parenting young women who reside at BETA's transitional housing facility. |

Fiscal & Efficiency Data:
PY 2014 HUD-Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) was approved on 7/28/2014 as part of the Annual Action Plan.

Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement for $40,242.00 with BETA Center, Inc., after review and approval of the documents by the City Attorney's Office. |
