Summary:
On July 28, 2014, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2014-2015 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development Programs, a request from Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center of Central Florida for CDBG Public Facilities and Improvements funding in the amount of One Hundred Forty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-Three Dollars and No Cents ($147,563.00). Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center of Central Florida will use this funding for renovation of the center to provide space for the continuation and growth of programs and services for the center’s HIV program. |

PY2014 HUD-Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) was approved on 7/28/2014 as part of the Annual Action Plan.

Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement for $147,563.00 to Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center of Central Florida after review and approval of the documents by the City Attorney's Office. |
