Summary:
As part of the FY 2014/2015 budget process, City Council approved funding for 24 community service organizations that provide relief for families, children and seniors, and address the diverse needs and challenges Orlando residents experience. This includes the distribution of $74,800 to the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness, $14,960 to the Pet Alliance of Central Florida (formerly SPCA) for animal services and $13,370 for the administration of the Citizen Review Panel process, which evaluates community service organizations' requests and makes funding recommendations to the City and Orange County. Approval is being requested for the funding agreements and distribution of approved funds to the agencies in the amounts specified in Exhibit A. A draft of the funding agreement is attached. |

Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor/Pro-tem and City Clerk to execute the funding agreements with the organizations in the amounts attached to this agenda item, subject to review and approval by the Office of Legal Affairs. NOTE: The attached agreement is a draft and is not for execution. |
