Employment Agreement - Latasha Greer-Adewale, PKZ Academic Coordinator (Part-Time)

Summary:

At the April 28, 2014 Orlando City Council meeting, Commissioners approved the division of one (1) full time PKZ Academic Coordinator contract position into two (2) part time positions. Ms. Erika Ransom was hired as one (1) of the Part Time PKZ Academic Coordinators, and her contract renewal for the 2014-15 fiscal year is the subject of a separate City Council agenda item.

By approving this agenda item, City Council will authorize a one (1) year contract with the other Part Time PKZ Academic Coordinator, Ms. Latasha Greer-Adewale (see resume attached). In this capacity, Mr. Greer-Adewale will develop, coordinate and oversee all PKZ services aimed at supporting the academic success of Parramore youth.

The position is funded within the Department's 2014-15 budget.

Recommended Action:
Approve the attached Employment Agreement with Latasha Greer-Adewale and authorize signature by the Mayor/Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk, subject to satisfactory review by the City Attorney's Office.
